德國汽車製造商福斯汽車（Volkswagen）計劃於2027年在歐洲推出售價約20,000歐元（約21,580美元）的入門級電動車，並將銷售策略重點放在歐洲市場。
這款車型將是福斯首款採用與美國電動車製造商Rivian合資企業所開發的軟體的車輛，該軟體需要更少的電子控制單元和明顯減少的線路，從而降低車輛重量並簡化製造過程。
福斯品牌計劃在2027年前推出八款新的平價電動車型，包括今年即將上市、售價25,000歐元的ID.2。
目前，歐洲市場上售價低於20,000歐元的電動車型寥寥無幾，如Dacia Spring或零跑汽車的T03。然而，今年將有11款售價低於25,000歐元的新車型在歐洲上市，包括雷諾R5、菲亞特Grand Panda和現代Inster。
此前，雷諾與福斯就生產平價電動版雷諾Twingo的合作談判於去年破裂，雷諾將於2026年自行推出該車型。
為了保護市場份額，福斯品牌正致力於削減產能和成本，以騰出資金投資於生產更便宜的電動車型，應對來自中國競爭對手的挑戰。
