原先台灣特斯拉推出了與好市多的購買電動車優惠方案，然而在 X 上，當 Sawyer Merritt 推文出這次廣告文宣內容後卻直接被特斯拉執行長 Elon Musk 在下方回應表示該活動沒有獲得他的批准，目前已確認取消了該活動。
台灣特斯拉與好市多的合作
本週一開始，在全台 7 家店展出特斯拉電動車，並為期兩週時間，並公布了此次的合作文宣。
此次在好市多展示了Model 3 與 Model Y 後驅版本，在好市多購車價格與官網一樣，另外他們提供隔熱紙優惠券 3,000 元及好市多電商萬元折價券。
除此再加贈好禮三選一，有超充 5,000 公里內免費、家用壁掛安裝、旅充充電座套件等。
活動限量 50 位名額。
來自 Elon Musk 的否決
然而該活動不到兩日，在 TwinBirchUSA 的創辦人 Sawyer Merritt 於 X 轉發活動內容後被 Elon Musk 於推文回覆他並未承認此次銷售活動，並取消了該計畫。
然而在後續他並未針對取消說明原因。
