代號「Project Highland」的新一代 Model 3 傳出消息已經有一陣子了，而隨著時間的推進，加上之前照片的流出，特斯拉看起來終於要將它推出。
特斯拉先前已將歐洲所有新的 Model 3 訂單的交車時間延後至 10 月份，換言之些交車將會在第四季的時侯才會開始。而左架的版本更延遲至 2024 年的 1 月。

根據推特傳言，中國生產的特斯拉 Model 3 將於 8 月 14 日停產。而新款的特斯拉 Model 3 將於第三季度正式進入生產線，而在上個月，特斯拉便稱，即將進行 “全球工廠升級” ，而這似乎就真的能解釋為何交車時間會延遲。
