Toyota Estima，在台灣被稱作Previa的經典MPV車款，自2019便宣布了停產。然而在最近日本bestcar的報導中，傳出了它將在2024年作為純電動車款再次出發的消息，並提出該車將給予消費者改為純電動力後更為寬敞舒適的車內空間。
在報導中所提及計劃在下次車款中將作為 FCV (氫燃料電池汽車)的 Estima/Previa 將首先作為純 EV 電動車款復活。Toyota宣佈了至 2025 年將在全球推出 15 款 EV 車型計畫中，這款 MPV便是該計劃的核心車型之一。
在報導中也預估了這款純電 MPV 的馬達將可輸出 180ps 馬力和 25.0 kgm 扭力。也因為是使用了EV平台，所以能實現了較以前更為寬敞且易於使用的車內空間，在目前純電MPV的市場上選擇不多的情況下，希望能夠早一步佔有一席之地。
